The early promise of huge 3DMark scores from the Sapphire cards didn’t quite materialise in games such as Skyrim but the good news is that our great Dual GPU performance is back in F1 2011 where the Sapphire cards offer smooth framerates at 5760×1080 with ultra detail and 8x anti-aliasing. Some additional scaling would have been nice with the third card however a minimum of 57fps is fantastic and ensures that the 7970’s are our fastest cards for F1, a game where NVIDIA again suffer stability issues on X79 with quad GPUs.

Here are examples of how the game looks at our tested settings.
