The Titan handset is a large device, measuring 131.5mm x 70.7mm x 9.9mm and weighing in at 160g. The 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen which has a resolution of 480 x 800 supports 16 million colours and has a pixel density of 199ppi. The Super LCD display spans almost the full width of the front surface with space at the top for the 1.3 MP front facing camera, earpiece, a notification LED and the proximity sensor. At the bottom we have our standard Windows Phone touch sensitive buttons; back, start and search.

The left edge of the handset is sparsely populated with only the microUSB charge and data port calling it home. The right edge of the handset is home to the volume rocker switch and the camera button.

The power/lock button is placed towards the right of the top edge at along from that is the 3.5mm headset socket. The bottom edge of the handset is where we find the microphone and a discrete thumbnail button that is spring loaded allowing us easy access to the phone innards.

The back of handset is made completely of aluminium with the exception of the bottom section which is coated in hard plastics and features the Windows Phone strapline. Above the embossed HTC logo, which is ¾ of the way up the back case, we find the 8MP (3246 x 2448) camera and dual LED flash, next to the speaker grill. The camera is also capable of recording video with up to 720p resolution.

Underneath the back cover we find the SIM card slot and battery, a slim Lithium – ion model with a 3.8v 1600mAh capacity.

Running inside the Titan is Qualcomm Snapdragon, specifically a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and an Adreno 205 GPU. The Titan has a massive 16 GB of internal storage with 12.63GB available for users. In terms of connectivity this phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP/EDR, HSDPA 14.4/HSUPA 5.76Mbps and mobile hotspot functionality. A gyroscope, compass, FM Radio and an accelerometer are also present as is support for A-GPS
