Here are the stated differences (New Performance Specs in Red): 128GB 256GB 512GB Max Read 535MB/s 550MB/s 535MB/s 550MB/s 535 MB/s 550MB/s Max Write 200MB/s 420MB/s 380MB/s 465MB/s 475MB/s Random Read IOPS (4K QD32) 90,000 90,000 95,000 Random Write IOPS (4K QD32) 85,000 85,000 85,000 Max IOPS 120,000 120,000 120,000 The gains on the 256GB drive are impressive from the previous firmware to the new version. Interestingly this is not the first time OCZ have offered a large performance increase to customers via firmware updates, their Octane drive went through a similar process after launch too, proving that OCZ are dedicated to improving their drives over time.
