Corsair Obsidian Series 550D Case Review
Over the past couple of years Corsair have made quite a name for themselves in various market segments that were previously out with their product catalogue. With items like their new mechanical keyboards and gaming mice or the SP2500 speakers they have continually impressed. That said we have been most impressed by what they have done with case designs.
Today we look at one of Corsairs most recent case designs, the 550D, which looks to bring ultra-low noise operation to the high quality build normally associated with their range.
Packaging and Bundle
Corsair package the 550D in a reasonably plain box which gives us an outline of the case design along with listing some key specifications. Upon opening the box we find the case suspended in polystyrene and wrapped in a plastic bag with tape holding various parts in place during shipping.
Bundled with the case is a short manual, all of our screws for the build and extras like a USB 3.0 to 2.0 convertor for those with older motherboards along with a bundle of cable ties.
