The Theron Gaming Mouse
Taking a closer look at the Theron we find a mid-sized mouse that can be either used with a claw or palm grip. The dimensions of the Theron are 123mm x 73mm x 40mm.
The mouse has a matt black finish with a soft rubberised surface for comfort during gameplay sessions. There are large left and right main buttons and a chunky scroll wheel. There are also two small buttons behind the scroll wheel, which in default mode allow us to cycle up and down through pre-set DPI values.
The rear of the Theron has a slight flared design and features an illuminated Tt eSPORTS logo. The illumination on the Theron includes this logo, the scroll wheel and the bottom back and side edge of the mouse.
On the right hand side of the Theron we find a single button. By default this button is set to a macro command, we can of course configure this through the software provide on the CD/via download. The left hand side of the mouse has two buttons, which again we can configure through the software.
Turning the mouse over we find the weights located underneath a cover. These are easily removed and can be configured to our personal preference. The base of the Theron also features a number of switches that allow us to manually control the profile setting, the polling rate and a switch to disable the side buttons. The Theron has a laser sensor which has a DPI profile of 100 to 5600.
Like other products from Tt eSPORTS the Theron features gold plated connectors and the USB cable is 1.8m in length and is braided for extra durability. We also find that Tt have provided a small Velcro tidy that allows us to keep the cable neat.
Putting the Theron together with the Galeru we see how well the bungee works with the mouse.
