Microsoft announced last night that over 3 million units of their next-generation game console have been sold in the year 2013. Launched on November 22, the Xbox One went on sale in a total of 13 countries across the globe last year. While the first 1 million units were sold within 24 hours, the next million was achieved in 18 days, and another million units were sold before the year ended.
Whoever said that next-gen is going to be dominated by Sony and the PlayStation 4 were very wrong. Up until now, it’s a pretty even match.
