Steam Machines are desktop PCs fitted with varying combinations of powerful PC hardware, coupled with Valve’s Steam OS. In short, it is a PC-style console for your living room. But what happens if somebody tries to downsize that console so as to make it portable?
Introducing Steamboy, the first non-desktop Steam Machine. Featuring a quad-core CPU, 4 GB RAM and 32 gigs of storage, Steamboy sure won’t be as powerful as other solutions. But, it will suffice for casual and certain indie games on-the-go. The team might go for an AMD A4 or Intel Atom processor.
Steamboy Machine is due 2015. For now, we only have a teaser trailer to show.
