Rockstar has announced a Grand Theft Auto V release date of November 18, 2014 on Xbox One and PS4.
The PC version of the game will follow on January 27, 2015.
In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, Rockstar says players can expect numerous improvements including denser traffic, a new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and more radio selections, with over 100 additional songs and DJ mixes.
New weapons and shooting range challenges will also be available, as will fresh activities including wildlife photography. More animals will be included in the game too.
The title will feature rare versions of classic vehicles from previous GTA games including the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more manoeuvrable Blimp.
Grand Theft Auto Online will support an increased player count, with online play for up to 30 players on Xbox One and PS4.
PS3 and Xbox 360 players will also be able to transfer their GTA Online characters and progression to their choice of the Xbox One, PS4 or PC versions of the game.
Players who pre-order the game will receive $1,000,000 in-game cash to spend across GTAV and GTA Online.
