The Infinity Luxe 805 GT arrived with us in a large outer box. Inside that was the box for the motherboard, filled with all the various retail bundled items and the box used for the case. That was also surrounded by some protective packaging and inside the system was suspended in foam and wrapped in a protective cloth bag.

Phd Research Proposal Write There is a little sticker across the power input which reminds us to remove the case side and remove the air pockets from inside. These are packed tightly to ensure that the components installed have less chance of moving or becoming loose in transit.

The Infinity Luxe 805 GT is available in a few colours, ours is the blue and looking at the options available the coolest alternate option was red. CyberPower are using the InWin 805 case for this system and its a great choice which uses a mix of metal and tempered glass to create a system which really stands out. The LED’s added by CyberPower further enhance that.

Looking around the inside we find quality branded components from the likes of Corsair (PSU/Memory/Cooler), Seagate (Drive) and ASUS (Motherboard).

CyberPower have replaced the fans in the case with Thermaltake models which is an interesting extra touch and sitting beneath our H110i GT cooler is an Intel i7-6700K CPU. The fastest of the models Intel offer on their Z170 based motherboards. Our GPU is an MSI branded Geforce GTX 980 Ti and sitting alongside that is an Intel 750 series PCIe based SSD. It’s worth mentioning that all of these parts have won awards on our site in the last 6 months or so.

CyberPower add an overclock to our CPU, if selected in the order process, and that means the processor has a target speed of 4.7GHz. Memory is set to run at 3000MHz and our GPU boosts up to 1076MHz with 6GB of GDDR5 running at 1753MHz.

As far as alternate configurations go,  we can change the case (though few of the other options have the same impact), add variable colour LEDs, swap the CPU, add overclocks up to 20%, choose liquid or air cooling, alternate motherboards, up to 64GB of DDR4, 8TB drives, enhanced soundcard, TitanX and Fury X GPUs, SLI/Crossfire… really anything you could want from an enthusiast/gamer build.

Testing was performed with the out of the box configuration, Windows 10 was the OS and all patches were installed as were the latest drivers.

CyberPower UK Infinity Luxe 805 GT Review – Conclusion

Arto Inkala Dissertation Starting with the build quality of the system we have a selection of components which are all good quality. Branded components from industry leaders such as ASUS, MSI, Corsair and Intel. CyberPower have done a good job of keeping the build tidy, no issues with wiring at all and everything arrived without issue thanks to the significant amount of protection from foam and air pockets.

CyberPower have also done a great job with the styling of the system. In Win have created some great looking cases really and the LED lighting used here really shows off the system. For us it probably works best in red as that then matches the track on the motherboard but blue is also pretty cool.

As far as power use and thermals go, all good. The system tops out at about 400w when gaming which means we could drop in a second GPU in the future without needing to worry about a new PSU and the thermals are all in line with expectations, the GPU peaking at 85c, the processor at 70c when really pushed to its limits. Noise levels are as expected too given the fan configuration.

As far as support goes, we can get expedited build or home install. The standard warranty is 3 years labour, 2 years parts and 1month collect and return with lifetime tech support. That can be upgraded to add 3 year collect and return or we can add on-site support which includes parts and labour. Adding insurance for fire and theft as well as flood damage is also an option. A good thorough set of options.

There is a huge amount of flexibility as far as build options go. Our review sample retails for the best part of £2000 but we could easily drop that by switching out the PCIe SSD for a normal model or tweaking the CPU option to something more mainstream. Really though this particular configuration is designed for high end content creation and gaming. That SSD for example is lighting fast, the overclock applied allows our GPU to perform optimally, easily allowing us to play the latest games in 4k with maximum settings.
