6600 XT Phantom Gaming: a big card from ASRock!

6600 XT Phantom Gaming: a big card from ASRock!

Last time, we told you about the RX 6600 XT Challenger

from ASRock. However, the brand also launched its higher end series with an RX 6600 XT Phantom Gaming. A sort of Challenger Pro with all the options: RGB, large heatsink and potentially larger factory OC … Although for the frequencies, nothing has been communicated.

6600 XT Phantom Gaming: ASRock’s biggest 6600 XT, yet!

ASRock RX 6600 XT Phantom Gaming

With this new model, ASRock offers us a big card with a three-fan heatsink. The latter also features two large aluminum fin blocks, crossed by three heatpipes. Compared to the Challenger pro, this model already offers a heatpipe of the more, this, improving the cooling. Similarly, this Phantom Gaming features semi-passive cooling, which does not seem to be the case with the Challenger series. Similarly, here we will have the right to an RGB lighting and not on the other series.

For the moment, it is useless to mention the operating frequencies of this model since ASRock simply does not communicate them. Nevertheless, we can tell you that this model offers an HDMI 2.1 VRR. HDMI that also sits alongside three DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC. Once again, the power supply part relies on an auxiliary 8-pin PCIe connector.

Unfortunately, ASRock has not announced a price for this model…
