6600 XT Red Devil & Hellhound: two PowerColor cards in preparation

6600 XT Red Devil & Hellhound: two PowerColor cards in preparation

Today is the launch of the RX 6600 XT, a mid-range graphics card. Its target? AAA games in 1080p with maximum detail. In fact, if we refer to the announcement of AMD we should have a card that performs better than NVIDIA’s offer (RTX 3060)… but without independent tests, it’s best to be cautious. In short, all this to say that PowerColor is working on two cards. In the not so distant future, we should see the RX 6600 XT Red Devil and HellHound!

For the moment, the detailed specifications remain unknown, since this is more of a teaser than anything else. However, we know that the brand is working on a “high-end” model with a Red Devil version and a second, more “mainstream” one: the Hellhound!

In both cases, we should find relatively compact cards with heatsinks equipped with two fans. Also, a backplate will be included, as well as a lighting system. Depending on the model, the latter will not be present in the same place: fairing for one, fans for the other.

Finally, if the frequencies, video outputs, etc. have not been specified, we know that the VRMs should be qualitative. The brand does not hesitate to put forward the presence of DrMOS and high quality capacitors for its circuitry.

Here we are, roughly speaking, we have done the tour, as soon as we know more, we will tell you everything!
