6600 XT: the PowerColor range is getting more precise!

6600 XT: the PowerColor range is getting more precise!

Ah the RX 6600 XT, again and again the RX 6600 XT… At the same time, it’s the latest GPU release to date, so it’s normal that we talk about it, right? Still, this is it, PowerColor is specifying its range. And for the time being, there will not be two, but three cards for the brand. Of course, the Red Devil and Hellhound are present, but there is also a small Fighter model in the set!

6600 XT: three cards for PowerColor!

RX 6600 XT Red Devil - Hellhound - Fighter On the program, the brand offers us three cards, each equipped with two fans. However, we notice right away that the Red Devil is the most high-end model, the Hellhound is in the middle of it all and the Fighter is the entry-level model.

This difference can be felt in the work done on the heatsink: grooved shell vs smooth shell for the others. More heatpipes (x5) for the Red Devil against three for the other two. Similarly, the Hellhound has nickel-plated heatpipes while the Fighter has copper ones. And finally, the Hellhound has lighting on its mills where there is nothing on the little Fighter.

But this difference is also felt in the frequencies. Thus, the Red Devil remains the most strongly clocked model while the Fighter runs at reference frequencies:

  • Red Devil : 2607 MHz (Boost) / 2428 (Game)
  • Hellhound : 2593 MHz (Boost) / 2382 (Game)
  • Fighter: 2589 MHz (Boost) / 2359 (Game)

As for the video outputs, we find roughly the same configuration based on three DisplayPort and one HDMI. The same goes for the power supply, which requires a PCIe with pins.

Here and there are the specifications of the Red Devil and Hellhound!
