6900 XT Speedster Zero WB: we know the frequencies!

6900 XT Speedster Zero WB: we know the frequencies!

At the moment, the RX 6900 XT Speedster Zero WB is the talk of the town. Indeed, we have already dedicated several articles to it, but it has to be said that it is only revealed little by little. It’s not easy to be exhaustive in one go… Anyway, today we are talking about this card again, since the frequencies are known.

6900 XT Speedster Zero WB : big VRM and factory overclocking !

XFX RX 6900 XT Speedster Zero WB

To summarize, this card will be the first in the XFX catalog to include a full cover waterblock. Moreover, the block is developed jointly with EKWB and it offers a design with the effigy of the brand. We will find, indeed, a big “X” on the face of the block which is acrylic with a frosted effect. Moreover, the RGB lighting will be honored.

In short, what interests us here is to know that the power supply part of the card has been boosted. This last one embarks 14+2 power supply phases, which is more than the 6900 XT Speedstrer Merc 319 of the same manufacturer. As for the frequency, a factory OC is applied and the GPU runs at 2525 MHz. To get an idea, the reference card of AMD is at 2250 MHz.

Finally, via Guru3Dwe learn that XFX indicates to have unlocked the overdrive slider beyond the 3 GHz limit. Normally, should be able to enjoy overclocking. It remains to be seen whether the card will be playful in this respect.

Unfortunately, the selling price is still not known. We are ready to type a third news about this card…

Here is the XFX datasheet!
