Akasa Launches the Affinity TB3 Thunderbolt™ 3 Dock

Akasa released the Affinity TB3 Thunderbolt™ 3 Dock (A-NDK02-12BK). Using the ultra fast speeds of Thunderbolt™ 3 technology of up to 40Gbps whilst simultaneously providing Power Delivery (PD) of up to 87W for charging – the dock turns a mobile workstation into a desktop powerhouse. With the ability to connect dual 4K or single 5K displays, the dock is perfect for creative professionals such as video editors, graphic and web designers, engineers, architects, and more.

The Affinity TB3 connects to a Thunderbolt™ 3 compatible workstation via the single upstream Thunderbolt™ 3 USB-C port. 7 downstream ports along the back of the dock include: Gigabit Ethernet, VGA, two DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A. Connecting all your demanding peripherals by the use of a single Thunderbolt™ 3 connection, allows you to quickly and easily connect and disconnect from your workstation.

Akasa, synonymous with stylish aluminum fanless case products, has used the same black, brushed aluminum and diamond edge finish with the Affinity TB3. This has resulted in a dock which combines the performance and capabilities of Thunderbolt™ 3, with an elegant exterior. Coupled with its small form-factor, measuring at 21.2cm x 6cm x 2.6cm, the dock ensues portability and integrates into your work space with ease.
