In the last few weeks we have seen the first tri-core Athlon II reach retail and today it is the turn of a revised Phenom II 965 Black Edition. We will be putting both through their paces on DFI’s new AM3 790FX board in a selection of real world tests to see how they fit into the current CPU marketplace. In addition to this we also have some of the first overclocked Radeon 5870s. Both these Sapphire and Powercolor cards have cooling designed to outperform the standard ATI model and through a selection of real world gaming, media and GPU computing tasks we will find out how they compare to each other, the top GeForce cards and the original 5870.
