Aorus Xtreme/Master: Gigabyte’s boards get an EKWB block

In the world of watercooling, we can always count on EKWB to cool our graphics cards. This is the case today with the RTX 30 Aorus Xtreme/Master which receive a waterblock. EKWB actually offers a block from its EK-Quantum Vector series!

Aorus Xtreme/Master: 6 Gigabyte RTX 30 cards compatible!

EKWB Aorus Xtreme/master waterblock

The series Quantum VectorYou know it well since these waterblocks are already available for a number of GPUs. This time, it is about blocks for Gigabyte cards and it concerns 6 references. Thus the RTX 3080/3090 Xtreme and the Master versions in revision 1.0 and 2.0 are compatible.

As with the other models in the series, this Quantum Vector block will cover the entire PCB of the graphics cards. This is despite the imposing dimensions of the cards’ circuitry: 150.5 x 295 mm as a reminder. Moreover, it will cool all the critical parts: GPU, memory chips and power supply stages. EK announces that its cooling engine offers a separate flow avoiding to break too much the flow within the block.

Regarding the materials used, we will always find a large nickel-plated copper base. Once again, the top of the block will be either acetal or acrylic. In all cases, there will be a luminous lighting. This one will be present either at the back of the block for the acetal version, or it will illuminate the whole acrylic part for the other version.

We finish quickly by the prices practiced by the brand. Thus, the block with the plexi window is displayed at 174,90 € against 169,90 € for the acetal model. Likewise, backplates are available. It will cost 47.90 € for the black model and 52.90 € for the nickel-plated version.
