Aorus Xtreme Waterforce WB: A RX 6900 XT in the works!

Well, Gigabyte is finally going to do it and is about to launch an Aorus Xtreme with AMD GPU. Via VideoCardzwe learn that the brand has an RX 6900 XT Aorus Xtreme Waterforce WB in the works! So, what does it look like? Let’s take a look.

Aorus Xtreme Waterforce WB: finally an AMD chip!

Gigabyte RX 6900 XT Aorus Xtreme Waterforce WB

For this first Xtreme model, Gigabyte focuses on the case of the RX 6900 XT of the reds. For this, the brand applies a full cover waterblock to it, intended for custom mounts. The block covers the entire PCB of the card and will cool the critical elements of the latter.

As you can see, the brand is in the sobriety with an acrylic part with an Aorus logo and a marking Xtreme towards the back of the card. Otherwise, the connection to the loop will be done via two ports in G1/4″.

Unfortunately, the brand is not very talkative about the frequencies… Well, it must be said that this is a leak rather than an announcement, so on the subject it is normal. However, we can expect the memory to work at the reference frequencies, namely 16 Gbps.

On the connectivity side, we go a bit beyond what we usually see. Indeed, the card displays a duo of HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPorts 1.4. As for the power supply, we have three 8-pin PCIe, which is quite common on the custom 6900 XT.

Now all we have to do is wait for Gigabyte to launch its card on the market.
