    I did a quick test of the new driverset (7.73)compared to the 6094 (7.72) only based on pure performance and purely with benchmarks, no game tested yet.

    Note: All tests run at 1024x768

    Test system:
    P3 1Ghz
    768MB SDram
    HD Maxtor 60GB ATA133
    Hercules RadeonLe 250/238
    Hercules Fortissimo soundcard

    The drivers configuration was left at ATI default = Balanced
    Computer has been restarted after each test.

    3DMark 2001se build 330 - 60HZ

    6094= 6851
    6102= 6891

    VulpineGL - 85HZ

    6094= 42.8 fps
    6102= 43.4 fps

    Codecreatures 1.0.0 - 85HZ

    6094= 8.0 fps
    6102= 9.0 fps

    Comanche4 demo - 60HZ

    6094= 21.48 fps
    6102= 21.66 fps

    GLexcess - 60HZ

    6094= 4638
    6102= 4605

    A note, with 6094 the DXDIAG test always showed the cube not running smoothly in both DX7 and DX8 tests. This problem goes back to 6071 drivers or maybe even before.
    With 6102 it is as smooth as a baby's bottom.
    It must mean something.
    Really noticeable!

    I had Cube Test problems in January but a fresh boot fixed everything :)

    I think it's in installation problem usually.
