    lol! It was @ 70° but I installed a fan near the cpu and got the vacuum cleaner onto the cpu fan :evil:

    thats INSANELY hot!

    My temps with 2.16Vcore and 2.5GHz only reached 48C at the peak.

    Its a duron chip :p when i opened up it was full of dust. So I got the vac on it. It managed to get 5° off :p I'm getting rid of this stuff in a few days anyway when i get my new system.

    durons should run colder. (Unless is a t-bird era chip, in which case those temps seem only like 5C too high)

    Check out the post on ATI Cards craig, "which from the list" someone said 2600+ cant be barton...

    well, hes really wrong, the highest Tbred A they made was up to 2200+. the 2600+ can either be a barton or a tbred B.

    Nah m8 tbh I think its fine, the heatsink and fan were proper clogged up! I also cleaned the PSU!!!:cool:

    That is way too hot though. My Palamino @1.825v only runs 37.5C idle and 42 to 43.5C loaded. But I'm getting THIS in a few days, so I won't have to worry about it either. What kind of thermal paste are you using?

    On the old or the new? I'm not using any and wont be using any lol. I was thinking about getting a Coolmaster Aero7 Lite.
