So who is going to buy the Apple watch come April?

I have to admit it's making me feel like going out and getting an iphone just to get it.

I have been a it's user for some time now, and have just upped to the 8.2 as soon as it were released,..

I will not be bothered with the Iwatch at all. I just do not see the need or the point of it personally.

As it requires pairing up with a iPhone so it has to stay within the blue tooth range, it makes it just an expensive gimmick.

Offtopic: thread moved to the smartphone forum.

Thanks for moving the thread MIG, didn't really know where to put this as they did mention the watch will be taking control of operations at a later date (as in not have to be tethered to an iphone).

I agree with you, it seems like an expensive gimmick but it's just so darn cool, my guess is Apple is going to make a killing.

I haven't worn a watch since about 1997. In this day and age watches are pointless.
