I tried this game when it first came out. After the very first 'boss' fight, the game went into an unending loop. I had to fast kill the game.

So, I've waited a few months now...and after several patches...to try the game again. This time, I actually got to meet the two gals behind the whole shebang.

As soon as the eagle took flight...crash! No video...but lots of audio.

The game looks amazing...when you can see it. And, the initial battle was very fluid. Could be a very good game...but, it will likely sit idly by in my list for the foreseeable future.

This one has been out long enough it should have at least most of the issues resolved by now. At least, I do have wishful thinking. :)

Yeah, you would expect it to work by now.

But new games are really being released in a bad state of affairs these days, it's laughable.

Which is one of the reasons I very rarely ever buy a game at first release. I didn't even buy this one at first release. I completed Origins first and this one had been out for a few months.... October 5, to be exact.

I have the Ps4 (Like you) and this game worked ok for me although my son has regularly purchased me the Ac games in Nov and then its put away till Christmas day, I spend most of Christmas with my wife and son, so its generally January before I really play the games and to be fair its normally on its 6th patch at that point. :)

They are also incredibly good with the free and paid content, the AC games are the only ones i will buy a season pass for and the amount of contest has been brilliant

I know you liked these games and God Of War so if you have not got it can I suggest Days Gone as your next game .... damn good fun

I've been able to play this some more. But, when I first got back to it I had an issue with the game switching which screen I had selected. I had selected my 4K screen...which is directly connected to my RX 590 via HDMI. But, after only a few moments...could be 2 min or 10 minutes...the screen would go black...audio still going...and then after a few more moments the game would show up on one of my 27 inch monitors. Aggravating as all get out!!!

So, last night, I disconnected all the other screens via Display settings and was able to play for a couple of hours without issue.

QUESTION: Is that a game issue? A GPU Driver Issue? A Windows Issue? OR?

This is the first PC game I've ever had this particular issue.

    Mr. Cairo...I have the PC...not PS4 version.

My Bad just assumed it was the PS4.

I'm back to this game. Commented elsewhere that I finally, after about 6 hours of playing it off and on, I made it to the Introduction!

Then, came the cutscene where he realizes who The Wolf, really is. ;)

The story line of this game is outstanding! Graphics are simply super! And, on PC, this game is performing so smoothly. And, at 4K, too!

I'm wondering why it is that everywhere I walk, I'm splashing water with my feet? Even in high ground. And, one camp was flooded and it was well above sea level below.

Weird... Maybe it's for the same reason AC Unity had coaches on rooftops... :D

This game just went into another stratosphere of a level! I don't want to give any of it away... But, it involves finding hordes of cult members and getting rid of them. This game can easily take me into the next year...if not the next century...except, I don't plan on living that long! ;)

As long as I've been playing this game, there's one thing I cannot figure out!! How do you "UN-target" and enemy? There are times when my health is getting low and I want to turn around and run. BUT, somehow I've highlight/targeted an enemy and my character zones in on that character. I'm playing with a 360 controller in Windows, FWIW.

Try using Ikaros (up on the D-Pad if I recall) to tag then untag a spot on the map away from enemies. Can't remember if it works in combat though.
