So do you think you can tweak the driver in a way that we can install x-fi mb2 on it to get real eax effects or the phoebus software or Dolby Headphone for better headphone surround?

I'm not sure, but I think sound is little better, especially bass.

In fact, asus control panel still doesn't work for me in windows 8 :( Maybe phobeus software bring working panel :p

I have an ASUS D2X sitting around not installed in a machine. Will these drivers work for the D2X? It's essentially the same card but with a PCIe bus instead of PCI.

If they don't already work with the D2X then don't worry about it! Like I said, the card isn't currently installed so it's not TOO important. If anything, I'm more interested in your Titanium HD XP drivers:cool:

Actually, the Xonar D1 is the PCI version of the Xonar DX. The Xonar D2X is the PCIe version of the D2, which are different cards, with different chips and components used.

    Old thread, I know.

After a few years of using your wonderful drivers with my X-fi card, my X-fi Xtremegamer died, and I after installing my ASUS Xonar DX, I started wondering about custom drivers, I found this thread.

Unfortunately, all the links in thread appear to be dead. Does this driver set exist any more? Is there no longer requests for these? Should I just leave you alone?

Anyway, thanks for all your work. The X-fi drivers are always fantastic and anytime I hear of someone installing a compatible card, I point them here.
