Thanks for the update Robert, I much appreciate your hard work.

    WH

    Update:

your newer driver doesn't recognized in windows 7 64bit ultimate for my Elite pro.

i have to revert back to 1.40 and it works. I've tried 1.50 different ways of installing it and it doesn't work..

    Bummer...

    Hey Rob,

Just thought I would let you know 1.50 doesn't agree with windows 7 x64 Ultimate keep saying "Driver is not intended for this platform." I have tried Manually installing it through Device manager, no luck. Next I'm going to try doing a driver cleaning in safe mode to see if that work's, but I have a Sneaky suspicion I'm not going to have any luck with that.

    The_d00d

Edit: Just as I thought no luck on the Driver Cleaning.

    Hi Robert

Just upgraded my system to i945 Intel 64-bit MB w/ Pen-D 2.8GHz 920. Installed Win 7 32Bit OS. Still using Dell OEM X-Fi. Setup drivers with 1.50 and sounded real good until I was looking through my music folder to pick the next song, when I noticed a lot of clicking poping and snapping noises and realized the mouse movements were making the noises. As I scrolled or moved the pointer from one side of the screen to the other, this is what produced the static. And clicking the lt.mouse button made a very loud pop from the speakers. I made sure everything was uninstalled, ran DriverCleaner.net and finally used a Reg Cleaner and a defragger before installing 1.50 drivers. MB model Intel Desktop Board D945PPR D945PGR. MB is out of a Sony VAIO VGC-RB62G V.R5081694. Have had no problems with PAX drivers until now Any thoughts on this?

Hello again Rob, Just posting and update to let you know windows 7 x64 is a install loop of reboots and not installing the driver at all. Cleaned all drivers for creative and run setup.exe doesn't do anything but jump to asking if I want to reboot. Upon reboot no hardware is detected. If I force driver install via device manager I get "There is no driver selected for the device information set or element." I hope this helps more.

Also I noticed in the download there is a bunch of copies of the same files both in "PAX PCI XFI All-OS-Driver V1.50\Drivers\SBXF\wdm\win2k_xp\i386" and "PAX PCI XFI All-OS-Driver V1.50\Drivers\SBXF\wdm\win2k_xp\amd64".

If you could check you PM's I sent you something you might be interested in.
Just PM me back if you would like that or not.

    The_d00d

Edit: All above is after re-downloading.

Maybe this can help in some way I pulled it from the event viewer under Windows Logs>> System, "Driver Management concluded the process to install driver NULL Driver for Device Instance ID PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_002C1102&REV_00\4&24F622EE&0&4048 with the following status: 0xe0000203."

I have installed PAX PCI XFI All-OS-Driver V1.50 on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

The only thing that is hardware properties tab when I read the version:

    Driver Date: 3/6/2009
    Driver Version: 6.0.1.1373

    Is this correct?

    P.S. I have an X-Fi Elite Pro :)

Ok I tried out something going back to just before I tried installing v1.50 now I get " Reinstall drivers for this device." after I try to install it and a whole bunch of " \??\C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\{EF7AEA4C-EC87-45fd-A909-47D0136316DE}# has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver", "Application popup: : \??\C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\{EF7AEA4C-EC87-45fd-A909-47D0136316DE}##CT20XUT.SYS failed to load", aswell as "The {EF7AEA4C-EC87-45fd-A909-47D0136316DE}##CTEXFIFX.SYS service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading"

I don't know if it is trying to load the 32bit version of the driver or not but the last time I ran into this it was hopefully someone more knowledgeable Then I can help.

Well I did a Cleanup installation! I removed everything even the apps and used the driverheaven cleaner. Then I installed only the 1.50 driver but its not working with my X-Fi Elito Pro under Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. I revert back to 1.40. The thing is that when the new driver installing it cannot find hardware...I even tried with manual installation same result! :sigh:

Hey Rob I looked at the files that were listed in my event viewer and the files off of auzentech site the ones in auzentech for 64bit are much larger then the ones in your install. Also the files in the amd 64 mirror exact size bit for bit the i386 this should not be for 64 bit compiled code. The 1.40 driver the sizes are different they are bigger file sizes on the 64bit then the 32bit I think we may have found the culprit.

    Hope this helps

    Hello PAX...

I'm a new user to this site and all are saying ur drivers are great ..so i downloaded PAX 1.5 drivers for vista/windows 7 it works great it[IMG] has more bass than creative drivers..Thankx for tweaking.. But there was no Xfi console launcher,Bassboost option,EQ, CMSS,EAX etc... And PAX is there a way to implement Seperate treble and bass options in console launcher... And a Crystalizer... And pls release Drivers and suites for XP also.... Waiting 4 ur Great Drivers....
