I hate to say this to robert. I'm only getting sounds from my 5.1 system. center, right front, left back and bass... My left front, and my right back are not putting sound out.

Also when I start windows 7 x64 it tells me that X-Fi CMSS 3D is conflicting with the bass program...

I can assess the settings and manually set the Speaker to 5.1 but nothign works right..

I've tried all the different mods and no change.

I've changed Default Format from 24bit 48000 Hz to 96000Hz and no change...

    weird..

But I have faith in your skills.

I'm going to try some other ideas..

That sounds like an issue with the audio file or it's streaming audio from a website and is buffering if downloaded try re-downloading. You could try to disable "Fade in" in the configuration of Winamp. How does Windows Media Player deal with it, or have you tried VLC?

    Hi There

I just discovered these drivers today searching around for something to fix the annoying popping/crackle sound that my creative card makes randomly. I have a PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series card, model numbers on it are SB0886 & SB0880. I tried to install the v1.55 PAX drivers and it says that there are no supported devices installed. Is there a trick or is this card not supported?

thanks in advance to anyone who can help
    Trevor
