I see that, since my last post, not much has changed: I've remained faithful to Vivaldi.

Firefox doesn't really attract me anymore.

I'm curious about what Opera has been up to, I've updated to the latest version and I see that they've added the option to pop up a video, which is then displayed in an "always on top" frame, so you can keep something going in the corner of the screen while doing something else, which is neat, but I haven't been using it all that much.

Thanks for that one. I'll have to give it a look when I get home.

I've also tried Opera and UCBrowser before. I remember liking them but because I'm too used to Chrome, I just uninstalled them.

Haha, glad you agree! I wasn't sure anymore..but seriously, the browser industry has changed, i can't keep up. Firefox seems to be very popular though.

With Windows 10's 1703 Build 15063 creators update.... Microsoft Edge has been significantly changed, it now has flash disabled on websites by default it seems and you have to manually enable it for the site. Personally i think this is a fairly wise move as browsers move away from requiring it. I know i haven't installed adobe flash in firefox for ages.

I was having this very same debate with my younger brother the other day. While according to statistics in 2016, Chrome seems to be leading the pack of wolves. Both in the Desktop and Mobile industry. I guess it could be due to the fact that Chrome has super fast loading times. I mean, the cross browser synchronization feature gives it an added advantage as well. I found this short blog post to be quite interesting, it gives a small summary-comparison of the different browsers.

    Update end of April 2017.
I tend to have many tabs open, many many tabs. Perhaps up to triple digit.
Opera is the best at handling them. Firefox is a close second...almost. See, Firefox slows down a lot after a relatively small (for me) number opens and then remains at that lower speed no matter how many more I open. Crashes and all that don't happen more often, so it kinda works for me. I am slowly moving more and more towards Opera for all my needs though. I use it more than any other.

Chrome...for me it is a joke. After 10-20+ tabs, it's very unstable. Thankfully I use it only for 3rd rate sites at best, so it is not exactly an important part of my browsing.

All the above for Windows 8.1

I used to be an Opera man, but now I'm a Waterfox guy.

And Judas, I do agree, Edge is the fastest browser out there, bar none.
