Freezing problems in games

    Okay I noticed when I play a game my computer starts to freeze in 30 min.(sumtin like that.) I dont understand why? Ever since I got the internet the damn things keeps freezing up :mad: . I always search for virus and scan for spyware and there isent there. ( I also update them when they tell me). Is there anyway to fix the problem?

    This should have been in the Motherboard or Hardware forums but I'll give it a crack nonetheless. First off, have you monitored your temperatures? Look for high CPU, GPU and Ambient temperatures. CPU lockups will usually occur under heavy stress whilst GPU lockups will occur in games. Keep an eye open on your ambient temperatures as high heat can affect various component on your PC, especially if some of your hardware is passivly cooled. Normally, your chipset is.

    Have you run your rig under stress tests? 3D Mark would be good. Also run it through a run of Memtest86 to make sure you're not having ay ram issues.

    Start with that, and post your specs if possible.
