Aren't you going to push those 580's they look like they've just got a tiny overclock I'm sure they could get you past 10K.

"# of cards 2"
What happened to your tri-fire you were so fond of?
Everything's still at stock, I've just tweaked a few settings in the BIOS.

That's with the Gigabyte 6970 as the main card and the 6990 in the 8X PCIE slot.
My best score yet with AMD 12.1 Preview and my setup is Tri-Fire 6970 as main GPU with 6990 in crossfire. The score isn't much higher but stability is good. I don't think I'll go much higher than this.

Just a heads up that Majorgeeks is hosting the 1.03 update.
Currently 10654 but on the webpage it says that the graphics card & driver are not known. Application quite happily says that it's running 570s, which is correct.
aww..... my new 3930K + 6950 2gb overclocked slightly to 825/1300mhz scored worse than the i930 + 2x 5770 1gb overclocked slightly by almost 200 points

Although i roasted my physics score quite a bit lol
The graphics scores were almost 1000 less .. wow....
hows that for mind -_-ing?
Pushed the core to 850 and 1350 memory + turned it into a 6970 2gb by flipping the bios switch and enabling the additional shaders....
only gained 300 points from doing that..
It's one of those applications that REALLY likes crossfire.
yup... don't realize it until you see a card that is suppose to be equivalent not FASTER then 2x 5770's in crossfire..
but apparently 3dmark11 truely shows an only case where crossfire scales at 100% basically.
Here the result of my laptop under extreme preset :
I just ran this again on my HD 6950 after boosting timings a bit. This score appears to be quite low considering what I've got under the hood here.

But, checking the Details, it's showing the clocks at IDLE speeds...not 3D speeds.
What's up with that?
That about the same as I score with my rig
Sounds like a beautiful slideshow
Nothing to be concerned about unless you have a very low score. It probably gathers your system info before it starts stressing your system.
The final score factors in very little for overall CPU power and puts most of the weight on the GPU scores..
Since your scoring around the same as i am... i think your right on the nose for the 6950 2gb card.
Are you running yours in 6970 mode (bios switch)?
your within the 100 marks of my marginally overclocked 6950 @ 6950 mode...
spot on like i said..
heres mine at the 6970 mode again if you didn't compare
