    Isn't that like taking the airlines who's planes were used in the 911 terrorist attacks to court for "hosting" the terrorists on their planes?

    And by extension, the Italian government are responsible for any crime committed in Italy.

    That has got to be the dumbest court decision I've seen in a long time. I think the Italian court just wants some global coverage or something, because I can't imagine any sensible judge reach this conclusion using simple logic; maybe the court just wants some money from Google. I hope Google, after winning the appeal, will counter-sue the Italian court for being idiots.

    I'm fairly certain that being an idiot is not a criminal offense, or the streets would be empty (assuming there was someone still around to do the locking up)...
