I did everything u said. But not any success. The main problem is that as i said before i have sb live! not audigy so the audigy 4 drivers are not supported so i get the error on installation.
So my question is between audigy 2zs drives and u pax 2.2 drivers(the latest upax supported by sb live!)....... , which is better?
All this when installing the audigy 4 programms(Programms ,not drivers, from the iso i select everything except drivers)

i really dont know buddy. classic leon is more of an expert on this or dj_stick possibly. all i did was put the guide together. i never did any troubleshooting. but i think the pax drivers are better since they are modded

Ok. I've downloded ISO, done everything on first page. And setup doesn't work for me giving error that I don't have Audigy 2 on my system! :(
I can install only drivers bu running CTZAPXX.exe. Mixer doesn't work :(, I can run EAX Control Panel , but I need mixer! :( Also these new drivers doesn't allow to put EAX effects on DirectSound ???

I have an Audigy 2 ZS and I'm having a serious problem with the ISO (I've redownloaded it 3 times). I can mount it fine and it brings me to the "modified by YouaxP" screen fine, but when I click next, it crashes every time. Then when I try to go into the CD and manually install everything, I get very strange errors. I even tried the year 2005 package which is an exe and I get the same exact error!

EDIT: I just trie the ISO on my laptop, and it worked... go figure

BTW, my audigy 2 ZS has the colored jack connectors... I thought all the ZS's had gold connectors???

you need to patch the software first before installing. It won't try to detect your card if it is a a 2zs or what.

    Hi

I have only one question. (I post this info on kX topic too).

I'm testing CL drivers for Audigy2 now with another card (EMUAPS) controlled by kx and I've noticed interesting thing.
When all Audigy's inputs are muted, its SPDIF out is routed to EMU's SPDIF in, I can see a strange noise on kx's peek meter about -75dB!!!!! (should be '-inf ')
When I try to disable Audio Effects (EAX), '-inf ' appears on peek meter but only for very short time. Next a noise is back about -95dB for left channel and -85dB for right channel.
The only way to complete mute Audigy signal is by master volume!!!
So the conclusion is: Creative drivers can't generate sound with good quality like kX drivers even through digital output until EAX is implemented.

And what about this mod drivers?

    Question... I have Audigy2 oem.

    1. Can I use 24bit/96kHz ASIO and how?
    2. Can I record (24bit/44.1kHz or 24bit/88.2kHz) ASIO wit KX driver?

    another hacked driver

this driver works with most of the Live!, Audigy, 2, 4, X-Fi cards.
On Live! cards not all applications work correctly and Creative claims to have OpenAL 1.1 support but apparently complete 1.1 implementation is only on Audigy cards, on Live! you will get only 1.0 support(maybe only a mistake in OpenAL driver).

    http://rapidshare.de/files/24926878/SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_09_0001_hacked.rar.html
    http://rapidshare.de/files/19392619/OpenALwEAX.exe.html

Install both for full OpenAL support in newest games.
