This how it all fits together.

Certainly not going to win any cable management competitions but the case doesn't have any cable management options to speak of and space is tight in there. Still, everything runs cool, the 3770K idles at about 30°c.

I've posted the new WEP score in the Windows 8 section if you want to see the numbers.

    Here is the Batman bench.

The benchmark has pretty much doubled which is a significant boost. Although I don't think the bench is the whole story, seems to be hitching that is related to the game loading in data to memory which pulls the minimum FPS down. In game it's oretty silky.

    Thanks again! :)

My prize is at the local Fedex depot now, the guy came yesterday, didn't even ring the door bell or nothing, just left a note on the door that he was there and left.

So I called to complain and hopefully it will be arriving today.

It's here. (Man I need to get a new camera, this one is beginning to show it's age. It's a 7 megapixel Casio EX-V7 that I won at a Futureshop staff party and takes okay photos, this one I just reduced the quality to VGA so that's probably why it came out so poorly).

Nice one - it's a very decent processor. Whenever I look in Task Manager it's always sitting there at 1% no matter what :D The only thing I do that uses all it can offer is encoding videos for my smartphone. Much, much faster than my old Core2Quad.

THey've been here twice.. first time I don't know anything about. Yesterday they tried for the second time, and of course it was at the same time as I was on the phone for a very important call.. the only bloody thing I did the entire day.

I guess I'll end up having to go out to the airport to get it myself.

Thanks guys, and Liqourice, your Fedex guys can't be as bad as our Fedex guys here in Saskatchewan lol, at least yours ring the doorbell and you know they're there. UPS here is okay though.

No door bell, I live on the fourth floor.. he called but I just couldn't break that important call to answer.. so I didn't know it was the fedex guy until after since the number was hidden..

Oh well, another try today so lets see.

    Well, it's finally here.

Though, Fedex doesn't seem to treat the packages very well...

But the inside seems ok at least.

The battery had popped out of the battery socket but otherwise it seems fine.

And I apologise for the pics from my sucky Xperia camera.. this must be the worst mobile camera I've ever had...

This is why I'm an advocate of having an outside box for all packages. If this would have been done for your package, the outside box would have been damaged/sacrificed and your contents, the Intel MoBo, would have been much more secure during shipping.

The choises are extremely limited because I won't buy a CPU that will cost me 3000+ SEK (roughly €340 or £275). The only thing avaliable that's cheaper than the 3820 (about 2500 SEK for this one) is the Xeon E5-2603 and I don't know enough about intel CPU's to know if it's a decent alternative.

The 3930K is definately to expensive at 4500 SEK.
