help graphic card screwed up

    recently i install the omega drivers 2.5.90 and and now my comp cannot detect anyform of hardware graphic accelration. everytime i enter a game the it keeps prompting that it needs graphic/video accealration. wth. anyway im using a ati radeon 9700 pro

    please helpp

    Did you use drivercleaner to erase previous drivers installed in your system? If not, try using it and reinstall the drivers.

    what do i delete using the cleaner? theres ati , ati control center etc etc...anyway i cleaned everything and reinstalled the omega drivers, same problem.. helpp

    help now when i go to display properties>settings>adapater theres nothing no adaptor drive anything at allll

    Try (re-)installing your motherboard chipset drivers also.

    I think you misunderstood me i was revering to this tool ; http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/ , uninstall the drivers using windows "add/remove programs" delete all driver related progs, Control Panel and Drivers, then reboot, while booting click F8 and boot in safe mode, use drivercleaner and then reboot again. Finally install the new drivers. Also make sure you have the latest chipset drivers for your mobo installed, DX9.0C and all latests windows updates. Report back if that works.

    Yeah, that's happened to me before also, and a chipset driver re-install works.
