cases are a bit harder to come by. I say a good case is a case w/o a PSU. If you spend like $60 on a case w/PSU, then you're not spending all that on just the case, some of that is also going towards the PSU. However, on a case w/o a PSU, then you know you're spending those $60 entirely on the case, and have the option of a quality PSU, or a half assed one that will still work, but won't give you quality power output

BTW, what would your budget on a case be?

I would say around 60$ for solely the case, I would buy the psu extra.

There are so many cases out there. However, I know this case is awsome cuz i sell them at work all the time :). It also comes w/a pretty decent PSU (Allied 350watt).

I bought my ex gf a case very similar to this one. Awsome case to work in. Plenty of cooling. I like it alot.

Actually, this is the case i bought my ex gf :p.

All these cases have pretty decent stock PSUs :). I recomend any of these I picked out. Though, you don't have to get any of these. All i did was go to newegg and select under the search was mid-ATX, min price = $40, and max price = $60 :).

That comp i built my ex gf was really awsome.....too bad she kept it :(.

With that case since it has a decent PSU I won't have to purchase another, right?

So do you think I will have to get another copy of Winxp even though the recovery only uses an HD partition?

well, you can try it, but i doubt that it will work. Besides, when you use that disk, you'll be getting a bunch of HP ish you don't ever need.

Will my Barton work with that MSI mobo, it says it works with AMD Socket A AthlonXP/Athlon/Duron/Sempron Processors, or does Athlonxp encompass Barton?

DO NOT GET AN MGE CASE. It's garbage, I hate MGE, the whole damn company. I bought a MGE case from fry's, put in my mobo, everything perfect, even had my dad double check it. I was playing call of duty one day, and the powersupply just blew. I guess you could buy it for the sexy lookin case but the power supply is junk. And also, watch out for the front USB cover, it broke once I touched it. Overall, I've lost all trust in MGE, screw second chances, make cheap stuff like that and you don't deserve to be in buisness.

MGE is alright. Yours was probably just a dud, not a stud . It's all good though. If one is not happy w/power output of their PSU, it's simple to get fixed......replace it.
