This, imho opinion was one of the greatest movies I've seen in a while, in fact, one of the greatest period. If anyone hasn't gone to see it yet I really suggest you do, it is just excellent on a whole new level.

Caught the trailer a few weeks back, and definitely want to see it, I love the trailer music.

Seems very interesting. Shutter Island didn't impress me much. But I will sure go to see this one :)
The trailer reminds me a bit of Dark City (1998).

This has to be one of the best movies I've seen in a long while. Well worth the 2 hours odd running time, it just flew by.

No problem, don't mention it. The movie is that good. Too bad no one wants to add anyone else on the PlayStation Network though.

Hard to rate this movie on one viewing I can only say for certain that it's a mind F**K and a must see in the theaters (unless you have an amazing home theater). Honestly, I felt disappointed in the film and wondered why I wasn't caring for the fate of the characters. Inception could have benefited more from a structure similar to The Matrix where we learn pretty much all the rules of the Matrix early on and it gears up from there (die there you die in real life, powers of the Agents, Deja Vu etc) and then you are able to connect to the characters and enjoy the film much more. Inception throws new rules at you literally until the last few minutes there's no time to process it since you can't trust any of what you're seeing all you can do is wait for it to end. There's so much that's excellent in it and a cascading dream clusterf**k scene (best description without spoilers) alone demands a viewing of the film.

Things I am absolutely sure of: The soundtrack is awesome. Hanz Zimmer is definitely the all time best movie scorer you'll definitely remember the music in this movie, I've been listening to it for days and still get chills. Tom Hardy (ST:Nemesis, Bronson) owns this movie man I can't wait to see this guy in the Mad Max remakes or anything else in the future.

Saw the movie this evening, it was well worth my time, it is indeed best seen at the cinema, there's a certain scale in a few scenes helped by the powerfull vibrato sound track.

There is humor here and there, but overall it is a serious movie. At the very last scene, all the people in the cinema exploded in an unitary "oooooh!...". It has a good rithm, the 2+ hours pass without even realising it.

I'm a bit of a sci-fi buff, and I can't really put my finger on it, but I think some of the elements were "borrowed"... I just can't remember from where (no, I'm not talking about The Matrix, it could be an anime or something). Even so, I liked it a lot, one of the best movies I've seen in a VERY long time (and I've seen quite a few).

I'm going to see it a second time this Tuesday, can't wait. Can you imagine this movie in 3D it would be mind blowing! And the same thing happened in our theater, everyone went "Ooooohhhh" in unison when the movie ended.

Looks like the growing interest in this thread mirrors the box office results. Inception is #1 for 3rd straight week. Word of mouth is definitely a strong factor :D

I think it'll be #1 until Scott Pilgrim comes out.
