It looks like all three games have just arrived/are available on GOG, drm free and all.

The first game was already available on GOG, but now we have the complete set, including the Mafia III DLCs.

I know the first two games were very good when they were released, but I haven't tried/owned the third in the series yet. All I know is that the game looked amazing in screenshots and videos.

Well I played Mafia I or II, can't remember which, and liked it.

As for Mafia III, all I know about that one is that it had lots and lots of glitches.

I played Mafia and Mafia II and have both still. But, due to the music licensing situation, Mafia II became unplayable on Steam. (Although, FWIW, I haven't really had a desire to go back to it. Mafia III, I may check it out but there are so many other games I want to play, I'll likely never get around to it.)

From what I remember, Mafia is a game much like GTA. Except that the one I played was set in the early days, like in the 50s or 60s. It was interesting how you'd steal a car and a cop would still be able to chase you on foot for quite a while lol.

early days are the 60s? *sigh*

For a cop to chase you on foot while you are speeding away in a car you need to go at least 3-4 decades before that.

Maybe if I eventually retire, I'll then have time. I'm still working full-time and simply have limited time to get my gaming in. And, with my restored hearing, I'm into other activities I've been missing for over 30 years. It's all good! :)
