Following ASUS’ example, MSI has announced a new gaming brand series based on AMD’s “Polaris” chipsets, the Radeon graphics-based MECH series. Equipped with the new thermal design, the Radeon RX MECH series doesn’t just allow for higher core and memory speeds but also provide increased performance in games.

So, Nvidia GPP is dead, yet manufacturers are segregating the two GPU manufacturers in different marketing brands.

best idea is that they already had dumped money into creating them... and they were about to launch them when nvidia "pulled" GPP.... though i suspect something else is likely being worked out under the radar again that is identical and nvidia enticed them to push a different "Branding" out anyways.

They've "cancelled" the GPP but they still go on with those who signed it, in one way or another, is my guess.

Just noticed that ASUS have scrapped the "AREZ" brand for AMD cards and gone back to ROG and ROG STRIX.

Did they actually reach the market? I haven't seen any on any site yet.

Yes, on ASUS sites but I'm talking about if they ever showed up on webshops or in retail.
