Re: PAX PCI XFI ALL OS Driver V4.60

This driver doesn't work for me.
    I have Creative x-fi xtrememusic sb0460 (retail)
I've installed this driver several times just to make sure if i was doing wrong something (included driversweeper, drivercleaner, ccleaner, advance systemcare), but nothing worked for me i had no luck to get the sound.
Sorry to say but my card is working only with "support pack 2 or auzenuaa 1.5 from daniel_k".
    Any solutions?

Maybe not the place but: same card same problem. Do you by any chance have an SSD and Windows 7 64bit (like me), then you may want to read this thread: Sound dissapears - Creative Labs

Re: PAX PCI XFI ALL OS Driver V4.60

Tried 4.60, device gets detected and installed, shows up in "Sound".

When starting "Creative Audio Control panel" I get "the audio device supported by this application is not detected". This usually means it will work for an X number of reboots, and then only the SPDIF gets recognized in sound (device manager still reports no problem), uninstall + reinstall of drivers required, and then wait till the next incident.

    Device ID info:

    Code:
    PAX X-Fi Audio Processor (WDM)
Chip: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi
        Detail
            PnpID
                VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_00211102&REV_00
            Vendor
                PAX by Robert McClelland
            Device
                PAX X-Fi Audio Processor (WDM)
            Chip Vendor
                Creative Labs
            Chip
                Sound Blaster X-Fi
As stated in the link in my previous post, I think this is not related to your drivers Robert, but due to the fact of the Windows 7 64bit & SSD combo.

But if you are able help out: Thanks!

Re: New Pax Driver and Suite Discus Thread

No I used ctzapxx and installed 4.60, no other software. I only need the Creative Audio Control Panel.

    Would it make a difference?

(p.s. sorry can't help you with the SSD, only have one ;-) it seems to be something with the initializing the card on boot, OS seems to start to fast for the card to keep up and it does not get recognized, happens every so many reboots (my opinion, no data))

Enabled, but I still see no options for CMSS 3D in Launcher Audio Creation Mode and sound still 2.0 (Foobar2000)

    2.0.5 Software suite, "dirty" install.

There no 3d cmss in audio creation it just eumlatied the 3d surround for it :). if you have on 5.1 in media player or winamp you should see all bars playing. remember I don't have Titanium card at all. I'm hoping creative would ok the donates keep new paxyoursound site up for me. If there any extra money I will buy some creative cards. That way I can fine tune the drivers even more :).

    but this disables bass redirection
don't use Kernel stream output or WASAPI output in foobar, this bypasses stereo to multichanel conversion. Use ASIO instead.

I need this for editing, Graphic Equalizer and the bass and the treble bottons,
and not automatically switches back to normal mode, so can you not works in that mode,
the Graphic Equalizer it must remain in that mode,
and then you can edit audio.

Creative X-FI Elite Pro and X-Fi Titanium HD,
    I have the problem solved,
I have both, in the trash, throws, I use now two times a Asus Xonar Essence STX

Re: New Pax Driver and Suite Discus Thread

I tried to solve my problem using the forum-search but wasn't really successful.

    I'm using Windows 7 32bit and Audigy 2ZS.
Installed PAX PCI Audigy All-OS-Driver V2.50 and PAX MASTER Suite V2.05.

Driver works fine for me but Suite won't work - only Volume control window.
When I try to start Creative Console for example I get 'selected audio device not supported by programm - do you want to select a different device?'. When I click on yes there's only the option to click on 'Audigy 2ZS (WDM)'.

I did uninstall all drivers before I installed your drivers & the suite.

Really no idea how to fix that. I need the suite to activate my subwoofer via 'Bass-redirection'.

As I guess this is a common issue and I hope you've got a solution to my problem.
Sorry for not being able to find anything using the forum-serach.

    /e: wrong topic, sry.
    delete pls
