Express or the full outlook? Both store their files in different places depending on OS. I'm assuming XP

    C:\Documents and Settings\alewisa\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book
    stores the address book

BTW, I call it LookOut - There's a vulnterability about! hehehehe

    Re:

In exactly the same place they started - they are stored locally on the hard disk. And this differs depending on application and OS.

If you specify OS and mail app then maybe I can help further

    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
replace <username> with the username you logon as ;)
