I had a full classic 700 (.18 core, but 512K offdie cache) running 950-1G for quite a while. Those Golden Fingers cards rocked, as they put multiplier control on *any* motherboard. I've been thinking about wiring the L* bridges on a newer Palomino or Thoroughbred to a dipswitch block, but I think It'd end up being a LOT of work for little gain.

It is still SlotA, :p But that is neither here nor there... can you imagine what the Pentium 4 would be able to do if it weren't Multiplier locked? That is just another reason for liking AMD.
