For me the upper treble was too bright in 2.25 lol and I had a hard time bringing it down with out losing overtones. Check my post just above for the settings I am using on these, brings down the overbearing mid and vocals are nicely balanced on what I've listened to so far.

I'm sitting at 55% mid frequencies and 95% high frequecies think I will put highs back too 100% somewhere in the mids it is too strong still trying to pinpoint it is a pain lol.

P.S. Do you recommend editing the speaker.ini as a priority over changing the bass, mid, treble.ini files?

Hey was just looking at mids.ini and low frequency seperation is set 40Hz~50Khz
Shouldn't that be 40Hz~500Hz ? or does it understand? cause at the top it is
40Hz~500KHz.## or should the top have been 40Hz~50Khz lol.

Hmm bass and treble ini files are 40Hz to 500Khz umm 500Khz is a bit high changing to 500Hz lol ;-)

Went and changed all ini files to reflect 500Hz 500Khz ia way high 20hz~20Khz is full range lol.

So with those changes mid frequencies at 45% bass 130% clear bass 110% and Clear tone at 98%
(all in speaker.ini) it is sounding better through 3 songs so far lol.

Thank you thank you I can't thank you enough for all your hard work. I hope my editing is not annoying you ;-)

Cool been tweakin like crazy gonna attach the two ini files I changed so anyone can test em. OOps no .ini uploads allowed lol. ok
In mid.ini changed mid and speaker mids to 45% mid high and all speaker mid highs to 45%
In speaker.ini changed mids frequencies to 65%
    speaker bass to 140%
    speaker clear bass to 130%
    clear treble to 90%
    speaker treble to 105%
Voice vocal, Clear Voice and Clear Tone all to 90%

The bass will be a big variable depending on your apeakers of course but my other changes cleaned up the overbearing over mid tones I was getting, that's what I was trying to soften even in 2.25 so I is a happy camper 1000 reboots later roflol!!!

lol I put speaker clear treble back to 100% from 90% in speaker.ini
For fun I loaded 1.50 drivers awhile ago and these new ones are much better :) just need to get a handle on the mid uppermid and mid overtones lol.

Just been doing some testing and the vocal overtones not the notes but the electronic overtone sound is still strong on some stuff like Madonna lol.
Need an electronic vocal overtone setting lol.

Ok putting voice vocal from 90-95% and putting clear voice from 90% to 85% (in speaker.ini) helps quiet the electronic overtone a little more.

So close but still brainstorming for perfection lol. I think if I can bring the overtone down a hair more and bring treble up a hair I'll have it but saying it and doin it are 2 different things lol.

Lol a work in progress I just put treble in speaker.ini to 110% from 105% and put Clear voice from 85% to 80% so far good on Madonna brought the the overtone down some more but kept it clean at the top.
Ok 311 sounds good Pitbull good Nelly little bright Def Leppard ok Treble is weak on this rip anyway lol Jay-Z 99 problems good Will stick with these settings for now gotta take a break to reset the ears anyway ;-)

Cool Clear mids in mid.ini effect mid overtone took it from 65% to 55% now to give the ears a rest.

That was a great find lol I was able to take clear voice in speaker.ini from 80% back up to 85% think I found a good balance cross my fingers.
wish I could upload the ini files.

    XFI elite pro.
Downloaded and installed the new version of your drivers no problem. The volume is almost inaudible when turned up to max. Do you have any idea why?
    thanks.

I know when I change out to new driver win 7 defaults to my tv sound drivers from my nvidia gtx 460 and that is very quiet cause my tv is low. goto control panel - sound and check make sure speakers are default (if that's what yo use). Hope that helps.
