    I got an issue.
I'm using these drivers. And with some versions i was able to choose "5.1" or anything else in Windows-settings and "Headphones" in the Volumepanel.

But in the Volumepanel i can't even choose anymore. They read that from the windowssettings. But I need to set them both to set my settings properly.

Any advice? I even tried the official driver.

Ok, i guess we have misunterstood us :p

    In the attachment:

on the left side i want to choose Surround 5.1 or 7.1. But on the right window i cant even choose anything.

EDIT: Because i want in the creative window "Headphones". But if I check the option, that it switches to "headphones", in the left windows it's not 5.1 or 7.1 anymore. And as already said if i choose 5.1 or 7.1 in the left window, it changes automaticaly in the right window. As i am not able to choose anything there manually.

Okay, i've found it :) As soon as i knew from you rob, that it is fixable via registry, i googled and found it in the creative-forum.

Maybe we can put something like this in the readme-file or in a seperate topic.

    Thx to rpsgc

Accidentally posted this in the PCI subforum, but anyways here's an issue I've been having with the current 1.05 set. Whenever I try to install them after disabling driver enforcement in both Windows 7 and Windows 8 the software components install fine, but the driver fails to install (the security warning doesn't popup for confirmation). Rolling back to 1.00 or previous test versions I don't have this issue.

EDIT: Just noticed that Dolby Digital Live and DTS installers are missing as well.
