    Hello,

This is my first post on the forum, I just got registered. I've been using your drivers since 2012, so to begin with I would like to give you a HUGE THANKS for all the hard effort you put into these drivers since Creative seem to have abandoned us users :D

Not let's cut to the chase. I have a Creative X-Fi Titanium PCIe. It was running the Titanium Driver Suite V1.50 from 2012. I had some problems lately with the card not beeing recognised by windows, so I thought a cleanup and a fresh installion of drivers would be a good idea.

I downloaded the Titanium Driver Suite V1.05 '13. I manually uninstalled the old drivers from the Control Panel, then went on System administration>Devices>Creative X-Fi and also removed drivers from there just to be sure. Then I cleaned up with DriveSweeper and restarted. The next step was installing the suite. Did that, restarted.

    Now heres the deal:
I have two sound cards on my PC, the mainboards Realtek which I use for my speakers, and the X-fi which is used along with my headphones. So everytime I like to use my headphones I just right click the Audio Icon on the windows task bar, Go to Playback devices and set the default audio device. This works for me for some time now.

After installing the drivers I went to change the audio device from Realtek->X-fi, but in the Playback devices I see the Realtek HD Audio and a HD Audio Device instead of a Creative X-fi. I set the HD audio device as the default and I get audio out of my headphones. Which means that the X-Fi works. It's just not recognised as an X-Fi. So I can't use the Audio Panel or the Console Launcher or anything.

Any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance!

You may have delete the main folder from start menu and program file after you stop creative service then run reg fixer and try it again.

Hello Robert, I am new member, I am planning to install Windows 7 64 bit, I have a couple of questions:

    1) Your drivers do not have the cracking/poping issues with more than 4GB Ram of system memory?

    2) DTS Connect or Dolby Digital Live Encoders should work fine? My main use of it is sending game´s 5.1 audio to my receiver via optical cable.

    3) Your drivers should work with default Xfi software package or do you recommend a specific suite?

Thanks very much for your help!!
