Thank you for your work! Was ready to trash my X-Fi Xtreme Music before getting those drivers.
    Now works like charm.
Keep up the good work :)

Hi there again. Seems I was too fast in judgement... Still glitches randomly.
Sounds like static on random after switching between programs and glitches instantly after quitting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (until reboot in any case).

I have a suggestion (though don't know if it can be realized as involves reverse engineering): ATI Catalyst has VPU Recover feature (reloads video driver if not responding during presetted time), so why not add similar function to Creative drivers with one difference - make it manually available and put a button in Control Panel to reload sound driver in case of a glitch.

I'm sure this happens because of sound driver command or data section in RAM gets corrupt (hijacked by another program) as it behaves the same way in DX and OpenAL after the glitch appeares.

    I'm on: Phenom 9850 x4/ASUS M4A78/4Gb RAM/ATI RAD 4670/Win 2003 Server BTW.
Not a single issue (with XP driver under 2003) before this damned card appeared in the rig
