I am very ashamed to admit to you that I grew up in Arizona and Texas wearing cowboy hats and boots and never in my life had I ever heard of what the kids are calling “horse drifting,” which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like.

No, I am not talking about the infamous Bollywood classic, Alluda Majaaka!, where the guy slides a horse under a truck.

It's an actual "thing" this side of the world, apparently it started about three years ago and legend has it that that was the first horse to ever "drift" LOL! :D

Yes I have seen a short amount of a rodeo on tv (Only lasted a few minutes) Bored the hell out of me..

Besides its not that popular over this side of the seas, TV wise that is. And besides it is probably me watched a little of Dyre's link and I still would not call that as drift..

    That's a real nice video. :D

But alls I'm saying is drifting started in Japan and with very underpowered cars with teens at the wheel and they were only capable of very short drifts on the narrow Japanese mountain roads to start with.

Now, I play for you, the "drifto" national anthem:-

Edit: and before you tear my head off, yes I know an underpowered vehicle can still do a long drift, just saying if you watch the show that inspired drifting culture as we know it, very short drifts count too. ;)

And as a challenge I -dare- you to play this in your Volvo on your daily commute to work without breaking ALL the rules of the road.
