Phanteks is proud to announce its new Eclipse P600S, a silent chassis which takes inspiration from the award winning Evolv X, but with a design dedicated to eliminating background system noise.

The Eclipse P600S features removable sound-proofed panels, using three layers of insulation to cancel out soundwaves. Combine these panels with its built in fan hub, which allows it’s three pre-installed 140mm fans to operate in low RPM or total silence when possible, means it offers comprehensive solution for a silent workstation.

When putting performance hardware under-load, the P600 introduces Phantek’s new dual layer high-airflow mesh panels into its line-up of case innovations. This new mesh design, using two layers of highly breathable technical textile fabric, makes it not only more durable but massively reduces the loss of air-intake caused by using traditional high density mesh. Simply remove the quick release panels to increase air-flow to components and reveal it’s premium honeycomb like appearance.

The Eclipse P600S features a tempered glass side panel as well a sound proofed rear side panel, both of which are hinged and include a magnetic lock for easy access to components.

For users who don’t require a tempered glass panel display, Phanteks offer the Eclipse P600S in an additional Satin Black closed version, including two sound proofed panels instead.

All options offer a dual system configuration, with optional ITX upgrade kit, that allows you to mount a secondary motherboard at the top of the case. The Eclipse P600S is available at Overclockers UK in three colours: Satin Black, Anthracite Grey and Glacier White.

Phanteks Evolv X at a glance:

    – Silent mode with effective sound-proofing thanks to triple layer of insulation built into the front, side and top panels.
    – High Airflow mode by removing top and front panels to reveal Phanteks new high-airflow, dual layer mesh.
    – Hinged side panels with front tempered glass panel and rear sound insulated panel for easy access to components.
    – Built in PWM fan hub that allows low RPM or silent running with 3 x 140mm fans pre-installed.
    – Supports GPUs up to 435 mm long, vertical installation optional, CPU coolers up to 190 mm
    – Dual system configuration with support for up to 1 x E-ATX motherboard and 1 x ITX top mounted motherboard (with ITX upgrade kit accessory)
    – Air cooling support for up to 3 x 140mm front mounted fans, 2 x 140mm/3 x 120mm top mounted fans and 1 x 120/140mm rear mounted fan.
    – Water-cooling support with support for up to 1 x 420mm/360mm front mounted radiator, 1 x 280mm/360mm top mounted radiator and 1 x 140mm/120mm rear mounted radiator.
    – Storage capacity for up to 10 x HDD and 3 X SSD with multiple mount positions. (3 x SSD brackets and 4 x HDD caddies inc.)
    – Dual-lane cable management with built in velco straps. Sliding panel and GPU cable covers to adjust depending on motherboard/ GPU size.
    -Front I/O with hinged cover includes 1 x USB 3.1 GEN2 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0.
    – Available in Anthracite Grey, Glacier White and Satin Black.

    Silent and high performance mode
The Phanteks Eclipse P600S has been primarily designed to be a silent chassis with two triple-layer, removable sound proofed panels located at the front and top of the case. This insulation stops both high and low frequency sound waves, which combined with the built in fan hub that allows fans to run either at low RPM or silent running, means it offers a comprehensive solution to eliminating back ground system noise.

The sound insulated panels are constructed of steel, with a weight support that helps to improve sound insulation. The front and top panel also have a quick release lift and pull mechanic, which allows you to exchange the sound proofing for an increase in air-flow situations where optimum cooling is key. The back side panel also features sound-proofing, with options for a Satin Black closed version of the Eclipse P600S that replaces the tempered glass panel with an additional sound-proofed panel.

When changing to high performance mode, the removal of the front and top reveal the new high-airflow mesh panels beneath. This dual layer fabric is comprised of a breathable technical textile, this allows a massive increase air-flow in comparison to traditional high density mesh panels. Behind this mesh, there’s an additional dust filter, which can be easily removed for cleaning.

    Air and water-cooling configurations
In terms of air cooling, the Phanteks Eclipse 600S comes pre-installed with 3 x 140mm premium Phanteks fans, two at the front and one at the back of the case.

The case has configurable options for up 3 x 140mm/120mm front mounted fans, 2 x 140mm/3 x 120mm top mounted fans and 1 x 140mm/120mm rear mounted fan.
When it comes to water-cooling, there’s comprehensive support for up to 1 x 420mm/360mm front mounted radiator, 1 x 280mm/360mm top mounted radiator and 1 x 140mm/120mm rear mounted radiator.

Connectivity and Storage Solutions with built in cable management
The Phanteks Eclipse P600S has capacity for up to 3 x 2.5″ SSDs and 10 x x 3.5″ HDDs, with 4 x HDD caddies included and the option to mount an additional 6 just behind the front panel.

    The I/O panel consists of 1 x USB 3.1 GEN2 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0 alongside power, audio and reset buttons.

When it comes to cable management, the Eclipse P600S is very comprehensive, offering dual channel cable management with built in velcro straps to tie everything down neatly. In the front of the case you’ll also finding sliding covers, which allow for minimal exposure of cables running to core components.
