    PowerColor 6950 PCS++ Review
    ___________________________

    One of the more impressive looking enhanced 6950s is the PowerColor PCS++ model and today we have one of those on our test bench. With an enhanced cooler and significantly increased specifications over the standard 6950 we will be putting it up against the GTX 570 and Radeon 6970 to see if it can compete with those, more expensive models.

    This card is a true synonym of the word "Value".
    And the power consumption is astounding, 2 chip HD6950 draw more than 40W less in comparison to a GTX570. O.O

    Edit:
    You guys must be exhausted... all these reviews in such short period.

    The first was that they would only use cores which could be fully "unlocked" to the 6870 shader count.

    can i run 2 of this cards on my rig?

    board:intel DX58SO (2 x16 PCIe v2.0)
    PSU: Enermax Modu87+ 700W ErP Lot6 (Peak Power 770W)
    Case: Lian Li PC 7F-W (99% sure it will fit)

    card support PCIe v2.1 my board supports v2.0
    assuming legacy will work, what kind of performance losses should i expect.

    Thank You.

    Yes you can and none whatsoever. PCI Express 2.0 and 2.1 both work at the same speeds. :)
