I love it. Been in a few scrapes (my own fault, nobody involved) while I was still learning.
But it's all part of the fun. :)

I'm torn between getting a long block for the cobra...... be it a 302 or 351 or maybe something unique in between.... or just trying my bed to recover the poor engine that's in it already.... rebuilding an engine today costs significantly more than just getting a crated engine..

meanwhile the car is in dire need of some proper rims.... after finding some 2nd hand 1980's ugly looking rims just to see if a significantly larger tire would fit on the car after being jacked up.... the performs difference is considerably, the problem is that the offset is deeper bringing the tire in too close to the wheel well resulting in inside tire rub. I could smell rubber burning just driving down the road and due to the frequent bumps/bounces causing the tire to rub the inside..... on flat surfaces it's no issue.

However.... although the rear suspension has been resolved..... and my gaud does it ride smoothly.. the front suspension needs to be replaced/rebuilt, allowing a larger tire to be put on ideally... but if an engine swap or job is to be done.. the front suspension will need to account for any extra weight... i would still put in considerably heavier springs and better shocks since the front of the car needs to come up quite a bit... No i'm not "jacking" a car.... i'm making is usable for the roads we have which are terrible and filled with pot holes.

What i would give for about 15 grand to be able to either drop in a proper engine/tranny OR move everything to electric. I could totally kick ass at the drag strip with electric.

Are you finding it practical? I know a lot of people object to touch controls in cars because they can't be... erm... operated by touch (without looking).

it is something I'll be keeping an eye on though (so to speak)

    could be worse
I mean Jesus, their potential opponents could be the likes of a petulant man child billionaire who thinks all immigrants are rapists and murderers and wants to ramp up actual torture on your "enemies", or a religious nut job climate change denier who thinks that only the wealthy and privileged deserve human basics like health care. and food. and shelter.
I mean, that would be worse...

    oh wait, yeah that's right.
    fuck me sideways

I cleaned my PC after around 14 months. Underneath the front mask, the lower front intake grill was worthy of those PC horror photos. The inside wasn't nearly as bad, though. I took the opportunity to finally install the USB 3 front panel and it's working well so that's nice too. :)

I just got the news, I'll be going to Bucharest for a week soon. I've never been to Romania before and I've heard that the city was very nice. :)

On the GOP side, I'd rather it be a Rubio / Bush ticket than the 4 times bankrupt billionaire who can "run" a business and his slogan should say "Make white America great again!" Rubio / Bush, I think speak more realistically to what the American people want whether they realize it or not.

On the Democrat side, I like several of the ideas that Bernie has to offer here domestically while Hillary I think can help on improving things internationally.

By this billionaire man child's reasoning, my parents are rapist murderers and I'm an anchor baby....

I might have found a job in Christchurch. Send an email to this firm and got a reply a couple of hours later, telling me my timing was fortunate as a position just opened up. If I was interested I should give them a call.
I did, and all was positive. Next week I've got an interview.

    Fingers crossed now! :D
