I wrote something that concerns our current gun law and how it's working against someone I know, despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that he's doing everything by the book. It's really paradoxical in a number of ways and that's why I wrote about it originally, the situation is just stuck in my head, but the thing is that I don't feel that it's my place to publicise the situation, especially since it's so specific that it almost feels like it doesn't matter that I haven't actually written the guy's name. And again, it's not like you know him or that I would incriminate him (he did everything by the book, he's not under any kind of legal threat), but it's an ongoing thing and it's not my thing, so...

In short, there's a new gun law here that required all current gun owners to re-register them and go through the whole procedure as if they were applying for a permit for the first time. That includes satisfying a number of criteria carried over from the old law: not having been convicted, passing the Law about arms and ammunition test, demonstrating that you know how to properly use a handgun, passing the police field check where they come to your home to check where you're keeping the gun, as well as talk about you with your neighbours... I think that that's about it except (and this part is new) you also have to prove that you have a genuine reason for keeping a gun because your life is in danger.

And that guy I know passed all of the requirements except that they decided that his life wasn't in danger (even though he did come up with an at least half decent explanation why his home may be targeted), so they confiscated his handgun. Now, there's another bit of info that I'm omitting this time, and that bit both makes this totally paradoxical and specific enough that it more or less identifies the person I'm talking about - it may not be the only case like that in the country, but there can't even theoretically be more than a few.

My coworker has just dropped (accidentally tossed) his Huawei P20 Lite out of the window. It landed on the granite window sill a floor below. Not a scratch. We're all buying the bumper he has on that thing.

I'm a little more disgusted with my own country and government than usual. Apparently, we have just given the former Thai prime minister, convicted for corruption in her own country and on the run since 2017, our citizenship.

A co-worker from another office sent an audio message to the guy sitting next to me with the text "Hey, do you know this song? The audio is a bit poor, but I think it can be worked out!" It was a sound clip from a porno.

It's weird how concepts and ideas sometimes go in circles. I've just read that the first car appeared in what is today Serbia in 1892. It was electric.

Porsche also had an electric car eons ago. Much of the stuff that was before gas motors or equivilent were really delved into for practicalities sake, was due to literally anyone with money playing with the new toy called "electricity" towards the end of the 19th century and into the 20th.

But due to the limited understanding and the fact that battery technology was shall we say.... rather piss poor. A lot of houses, i'm talking millions of houses ran off wind generated electricity fed into large batteries maintained inside the home, our farm house for example did until 1954 if i recall correctly, that's when the power was finally brought into the area.

Watch this, it'll explain how the military industrial complex and the shadow government basically use the patent office to keep certain technologies from reaching the masses:

There was a dude who made a car that ran on water, yes you read that right water, he ended up poisoned, after of course they took everything away from him.

There's a dude in the video who talks about how people who are trying to make breakthroughs in Cold Fusion basically are hampered by the journals they try to publish being edited and things being misconstrued in fact he calls what he saw monkey business, only for him to end up being beaten to death in his home afterward.

Even people in very high places in government and the intelligence community don't know wtf is going on or who exactly is pulling the strings, and they are just as scared as you or I of the shit that goes down.

Dr. Steven Greer even has a dead man's switch in place.
