It seems that those drivers work with my ALC888, but I still prefer using my Xtreme Audio Notebook with Robert's drivers. Sound is clearer and punchier.

What is the relationship between the two packages posted above? Should the mb1.5 be used instead of the mb2 included in the driver pack? Thank you to anyone involved with this project.

Sorry guys no updated on this yet I want get other sets done first :). I be releasing two new sets on Monday then I be working on T suite and XFI suite with updated software and drivers might be while longer yet. Plus I don't own that card so it might be harder do stuff on it.

yeah use the MB1.5. There's a pretty good chance that your card doesn't support the X-Fi MB2 software like ThX studio and some other SB control console.

Don't so think bud. I'm not that great I don't have the stuff to work with it because drivers are driffter in the set.

    Hi,

I have installed the Pax_X-Fi MB R248 Win7 driver on an Acer W500 tablet. It works, sounds better than before. The X-Fi software works as well - love the Crystalizer.

Downside: it doesn't stop the integrated speakers when headphones are plugged in - although they are detected by the Realtek driver - which is a real bummer for me, as I do a lot of music listening and movie watching in the evening.

Music sounds really crisp though, especially on good headphones (I use Sennheiser HD280 Pro and CX 271).

I will try downgrading to 2.21 and see what happens.

Has anyone had this kind of issue?
