Sharp are shipping their 10G panels from plants shortly and they are expected to end up in new televisions shortly.

The 10G technology is 70 percent more efficient that 8G and will enable the production of much larger TV's at lower prices.

Amid better-than-expected LCD TV demand second phase investment for the 10G plant will start with equipment installation in the first half of 2010. The plant will reach its designed monthly capacity of 72,000 substrates in mid-2010. Initial production at the plant is 36,000 substrates per month.
