I got it first time years ago, unfortunately it was lost during the move back to Greece.
I finally got a new copy, which doesn't cost a fortune. Actually I bought it for 60p brand new lol.
    Shipping not included, but still!

I am not into the Asscreed games, but I am thinking about getting this, for the setup of it. Have you played the game at all? Like it?

@Erroneus Nice! Share some insights in the AC:S thread if you feel like it. :)

    BTW, a Trabant? That's not a common collectible, I would guess. :D

A huge pickup today. The fantastic Colossus The Forbin Project. The film that inspired the Terminator films.
The Predator trilogy of course nothing more to say about that!
Reilly Ace of Spies! I was in love with the series when they were on TV. Still thinks it is pretty damn awesome.
Darkskies the complete series. Think of X-Files only shorter (one season) and much creepier.
Dead Space 1 for the PS3. Because...
The Fountainhead. I love LOVE LOVE this movie.

Exhumed, it's a PC game, uses one of the Doom engines IIRC and it is set in a world where ancient Egyptian gods and monsters have appeared and you are there to kick their asses. Good gameplay, graphics, and great music.
Babylon 5 the ultimate collection.....nothing more to say about that.

au contraire mon ami, I spend a huge amount of time before I purchase most things.
I wait till I see the price is low enough and then buy it.
For example with the last pickup, the Predator trilogy I got for about 6 pounds. Colossus 3.28, Reilly 9 pounds etc.
Lost Fleet (the book) from my previous pickup, I got it for 50p. Talking about NEW, not second hand!
Yes some are more expensive, but I tend to wait months if not years before I order something.
    I am careful.

The case looks like it belongs to HAL 9000. I like it.

4th generation Core i7. In other words, why Haswell and not Skylake?

Comes down to price and budget, the mobo and CPU were part of a bundle within what I wanted to spend (And there were a discount on it for a few days) and to keep a some towards a better case than I already have.

    BTW it's Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor.

Having just recently built a handful of Skylake systems... even though in most benchmarks... they don't really have a significant advantage over haswell.. i must say.... they are noticeably better in real world environments.... All of them are DDR4...

The price difference is pretty insignificant as well... least here.

Currently got on the bench right now is a Intel i3 6100 with 2x8GB DDR4 2666mhz @ 2133mhz (i3 limitation) all on a Asus H170M-Plus and a Samsung 250gb Samsung 850 EVO. I should mention that even with the stock tiny cooler, it seems to be under full load, around 45*C and idles at near ambient. Additionally the GPU is pretty bloody fantastic, dx12 functionality. 1000rpm cpu speed, 500rpm on 120mm rear case fan, and 300rpm on 200mm front case fan.

I already thought the haswell systems were FAST to boot and do certain tasks... and that's even considering the Intel i3 4170 with 2x8gb DDR3 2133mhz on a H97M-E board which is basically the previous generation build, so i have something to DIRECTLY compare to, specially considering i built one not more than 3 months ago which happened to also include a 850 evo 250gb drive.

I hope the next intel chipset on the tock cycle includes PCI-EX 4.0 and USB 3.1 natively

Well after 4 hours to build it's now up and running, I did have a few issues with windows.

I forgot to download the Killer Nic driver for it so internet use were out (luckily had a wifi dongle lying around) but the pic don't do any justice but the board glows red so that were not planed that way.

Had to buy an external Blu-Ray drive due to forgetting the case does not accommodate a internal drive.

And Windows 10 key would not be accepted (But expected that) so needed to change the key.

Also went with the stock CPU cooler this time round as its a touch bigger than expected.

that looks like the same one that tried to kill me after sitting in it no more than 9-10 hours.... fucking piece of shit.... The back of the seat is held in place exclusively by the arm rests... and the arm rests are held together to the base of the seat... which all uses plastic and are super flimsy. The result of which was the arms passed over the head of the shitty bolts and nuts they have in there which have very little for a head to begin with, at which point the moment one goes, the rest ended up following, even tearing the plastic light crap and i ended up falling backwards and off a bit to the right, grazing my head on the corner of a wood and glass coffee table behind me.
